Pamper Lake Highlands only succeeds with the generous gifts of time and service from members of Lake Highlands and beyond.  Here are several ways to make a difference:

Host a Diaper Drive!

Be as creative as you’d like! Grab a few friends and collect diapers for the families at Pamper Lake Highlands.  Diapers are a huge incentive for our PLH mothers, and they only receive diapers if they attend PLH education classes.  Sizes 5 and 6 are always our biggest need. Contact our Visitor Care Director.

Volunteer as a Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, or Mentor This School Year!

We need teachers for our ESL classes (levels 1, 2, and 3) as well as for ESL for High School Equivalency.

No foreign language skills or teaching experience are required and you can teach as little as one day a week.  The curriculum and training will be provided for you, so all you need to do is show up and teach our eager moms! You can teach as little as one day a week.

If you feel led to mentor, please help us with our Bright Futures program participants as they work to meet their goals!

The fall 2020 schedule will be announced when it becomes available.  Contact our Visitor Care Director if you are interested in any of these opportunities.

Help Fundraise!

Are you good at writing grants? Or making connections with corporate entities or churches that might become ministry partners?  Or connecting our CEO/Founder with these contacts?  We need large donations to sustain and grow this ministry. Caren Bright would love to hear your ideas!

Volunteer as an Enrichment Partner for our preschoolers!

Do you have a talent or interest that you would like to share with the students in our preschool classes? We are looking for Lake Highlands community members who would like to come share their talents this fall to help us build our enrichment program in the following areas: Storytelling, Puppets/Theater, Music, Art, Dance/Movement, Science Experiments, and Character Building. Our students are ages 0-5 and are currently learning English in our classrooms while their mothers attend adult education classes at PLH.  The time commitment would be 30 minutes per session and you can volunteer just one time or commit to something more regular (i.e., once a month, once a week, etc.).  Your younger children are welcome to attend with you during these enrichment sessions. Please email our Learning Center Director to discuss how you can get involved.

Serve as a member of the Board of Directors!

We need board members who are passionate about the Lord and His people! In order to fulfill the vision that the Lord has placed before  CEO/Founder Caren Bright, we need a strong board with people of different areas of expertise and spiritual gifts to pave the way. If you would like more details please contact Caren Bright.
